Academic and Sporting Success for Resolve Group Scholar

We are thrilled to announce the winner of the Resolve Group Engineering Scholarship in conjunction with the University of Auckland. This is awarded to an outstanding engineering student each year.

Samantha Schubert, who was also placed on the Faculty of Engineering Dean’s Honours List for 2009, is in the third year of her conjoint civil engineering and commerce degree and is gaining valuable work experience at Resolve Group working on service agreements and assisting network engineers at the Auckland Motorway Alliance.

“It’s definitely put me in a good position for the future,” says Sam. “I’m being exposed to real working life and what’s expected of a graduate engineer.”

As well as outstanding academic success, Sam is also well regarded in sport. She recently won the Hinemoa 2km swim at the Blue Lake in Rotorua for the second time, plays netball for Carlton and has represented New Zealand in both the Junior and Senior Women’s water polo teams since 2005. She currently plays water polo for Marist Auckland Club.
