Tunnel Report

Resolve Group and Hyder International undertook a tunnel inspection for Transit New Zealand on four State Highway tunnels:

  • Mt Victoria Tunnel (Wellington)
  • Terrace Tunnel (Wellington)
  • Homer Tunnel (Southland)
  • Lyttelton Tunnel (Christchurch)

We procured the advice of an internationally recognised expert who assisted us in identifying the benefits of the Tunnel Assessment project.

Resolve offered practical advice for improvement

The project concluded with a presentation to Transit staff and consultants to show how security, vehicle safety and efficient operation for each tunnel can be improved.
