Mt Victoria & Terrace Tunnel Refurbishment

The holistic refurbishment of some of Wellington’s best known transportation landmarks - Mt Victoria and Terrace Tunnels - is intended to address and improve issues including:

  • - Fire safety; identifying risks and implementing specialist ventilation systems to mitigate against the advent of fire
  • - Management of air quality systems
  • - Breathing new life into elements of the tunnel that are nearing the end of their life

Resolve Group has the challenge of procuring an Alliance team to undertake the refurbishment whilst the scope and design of the project is still at concept stage. This makes the procurement more challenging and Resolve Group has driven a tight evaluation programme to keep up the momentum of the high performing concept development teams.

The first NZTA Alliance in the Wellington region

The Alliance will work closely with members of NZTA in Wellington to ensure a seamless operation with outstanding technical and key stakeholder results.
