Terry Brown

With a career spanning more than 40 years in local government, contracting, roads and transport, Terry joined Resolve Group as Executive Director at the end of 2005. Terry previously spent 15 years working at Transit New Zealand where latterly he was Director for Strategy and Traffic. Terry is a Planning Commissioner and he also has particular expertise in:

• Asset Management
• Intelligent Transport Systems
• Contract Administration
• Council Hearing Commissioner
• Strategic Transport Planning

As a member of PIARC (World Road Association), and as a former consultant in Asia, Terry is well respected internationally and has introduced many new ideas and technologies to New Zealand from overseas. When he is not working, Terry enjoys rowing and gardening.
